Course Details

The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace, it is designed for students wishing to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA). To work as a door supervisor and is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning and qualifications.

Entry Requirements

  • People Image

    You will need to show you hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate

  • People Image

    Have achieved an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covering

  • People Image

    Have achieved an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covering folowing areas

  • Assessing the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency

  • The need for recording incidents and actions

  • Administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of an automated external defibrillator

    Have achieved an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covering administering first aid to a casualty who is:

  • Unconscious (including seizure)

  • Casualty who is choking

  • Casualty who is wounded and bleeding

  • Casualty who is suffering from shock

    Have achieved an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification covering providing appropriate first aid for minor injuries including:

  • Small cuts

  • Grazes

  • Bruises

  • Minor burns

  • Scalds

  • Small Splinters

    Must be 18 or over
